What is a meteor and what does it tell us about other planets?

Filed under: meteor — admin @ 4:37 pm

I know what a meteor is haha, but I have an assignment with this question and it needs to be a page long, do you have any ideas?

It is meteorites that actually hit the earth and can be analyzed. That is a bit short of a page. Sorry.

  2. A meteor is something that hits earth. It can tell us about dust, or kinds of elements that are from our solar system. They can be from asteroids from the rings of the gas giants. They can be a part of a moon that was blasted off from another asteroids. There are many things you can find. Here is a good website for more info:

  3. after the big bang expansion theory supposedly happened celestial bodies started to form ,..energy coming together as planets ,suns/stars
so you have left overs speeding throughout space and being made up of basically the same stuff as everything else , only in a more raw form , so to speak , because they weren’t acted on by intense heat or radiation caused by formation of suns , stars , novas , etc. those could tell you the basic make up of all planet types …but then you get planetary collisions , explosions etc. those can give you info. on the state of the universe close to the beginning of time..
